From the battlefield to chairside – the use of NovaMin® in combatting dentine hypersensitivity- presented byDr David Greenspan, co-inventor of NovaMin® & Dr Jonathon Earl, Principal Scientist, GSK.

Adapted from a material that was originally invented for bone prosthetics, NovaMin® is a unique desensitising agent which uses the two main constituents of hydroxyapatite to build a protective layer over and within dentine tubules.1-6 This lecture will present the history of NovaMin® and how it was developed for use in oral care products. This lecture will present the history of NovaMin®, how it was developed for use in oral care products and the benefits of this cutting edge technology provides to your patients.

What is the acid truth? Helping you in the search for undiagnosed tooth wear - presented by Professor David Bartlett, Head of Prosthodontics, Kings College London Dental Institute.

In order to prevent the irreversible damage Acid Wear can cause, early identification is key. Professor David Bartlett explains the role of the Basic Erosive Wear Examination (BEWE) tool as a fast and simple method for identifying patients at risk and provides guidance on patient management strategies.
