The General Dental Council (GDC) has struck off a dentist following a public hearing into allegations of misconduct. Mr Fadi Sukaria, with a registered address in Wimbledon, London, was accused of conduct that was inappropriate and sexually motivated towards two female dental nurses. The charges relate to Mr Sukaria’s time at Primecare Oral Health Services in Barnsley, South Yorkshire.
The GDC’s Professional Conduct Committee commented: “… the Committee took the view that the sexual transgressions in this case demonstrate a persistent contempt for the rights and dignity of others. You put your own sexual interests above the interests of your professional colleagues.”
Mr Sukaria has been suspended and, unless he appeals the decision of the GDC, he will be struck off the register within 28 days.
